The ending falls apart? Learn from the end
Start with the last four bars. Then add what comes before them. Do not play the notes backwards.

If you always start from bar 1, the opening gets the most tries. A mistake often stops the playing earlier, so the ending may not even get one complete pass. In front of people it is the last chorus that breaks.
Reversing the order does not mean playing the sounds backwards. You mark the last closed fragment, and once it sits, you add what comes before it. Every new try still ends in the place you know best.
Hej sokoły has three clear pieces
On the Hej sokoły card the verse takes bars 1 to 8, the first chorus 9 to 16, the second chorus 17 to 24. That is why you can start at the very end, without guessing the boundaries.
Switch to Chart if Notes open. You set the range and the loop by hand: the link will not remember them. How to mark bars is in the previous lesson. Here the only question is the order of fragments.
First, bars 21 to 24
That is the second half of the last chorus: Am, Am, E, Am. You sing the ending: “dzwoń, dzwoń, dzwońeczku, mój stepowy, dzwoń, dzwoń, dzwoń”. Set a tempo at which you can change the grip. Play that range a few times. After a slip, do not go back to bar 1. Start those four bars again.
Do not cut the last Am in half. Let it ring for the bar, then stop the strings with one movement. You are practising how the song ends, not only how to reach the last grip.
Then the whole last chorus
Widen the range to bars 17 to 24. The first four are new, the last ones you already know. The place that likes to break sits on the join of bars 20 and 21. If you stop there, loop bars 19 to 22 instead of playing all eight from the start of the section again.
You do not have to pass a number of runs. It is enough that the move through the middle of the chorus does not add an extra pause, and that the last chord ends on purpose.
Finally add the earlier chorus
Mark bars 9 to 24. You are checking whether the ending you already have still sits when a full section comes before it. Add the verse in bars 1 to 8 only for a control pass, so the opening does not take the whole time again.
If the ending weakens again, go back to bars 21 to 24 for a moment. Do not wipe the work with a long run from the first line. Leave the tempo where the ending already worked. The new fragment is extra difficulty on its own.
Build the song from the end
First bars 21 to 24, then 17 to 24, then both choruses from bar 9. Add the verse only in the control pass. If the hand stops on a join, narrow the loop to that place.
Measure: the last four bars still sound sure when you play them after the earlier chorus.
Practise on a card with three sections
The card splits the verse and two choruses, so each stage can be marked without guessing the boundaries.
