Four progressions by ear
Here you choose a whole sequence, not the distance between two notes. I-IV-V-I may have no minor at all.

This is a different task from the three distances. There, two notes. Here, four chords as one sequence. Do not name every grip. Listen for whether the opening is major, whether and where a minor chord arrives, and whether the end returns to the first chord.
Four answers at level 2
| progression | what you listen for |
|---|---|
| I V vi IV | minor as the third chord |
| I IV V I | minor may not appear at all; the end returns to I |
| vi IV I V | a start from minor |
| I vi IV V | minor already in second place |
Read the table once, then cover it. Open Ear: progressions, level 2. Eight questions, C only, no clock. Cover the answers. Hear all four bars to the end. Only then choose.
A second hearing makes sense when you do not know whether a minor chord appeared, and on which place. If no minor appeared at all, check I IV V I. That is not an ear fault.
After a miss, Compare with the answer you picked plays the chosen progression first, then the right one. Name only the differing place: minor second, not third, or the end returned to I. In C, I-V-vi-IV sounds as C G Am F. The letters are for a check after the answer, not during playback.
Do not describe the sequence as happy or sad. Tempo and arrangement change the character. Here the order of four places decides.
The score from eight questions says what came out in this series today. It is not an ear diagnosis.
A song without forcing the pattern
Open W żłobie leży. The card has more than four chords. Do not force the whole song into one of the four answers. Hear a short phrase without the chord sheet, then check the chords. No match is also a result.
Hear the whole thing, then choose
Cover the answers. Listen to the opening, to whether and where minor arrives, and to the ending. I-IV-V-I may have no minor.
Measure: after a miss, Compare with the answer you picked plays the chosen progression, then the right one. The score from eight questions is not an ear diagnosis.
Check the ear on a song
Hear a short phrase without the chord sheet, then check the chords. More than four grips: do not force the whole card into one progression.
