One note: listen, hum, compare

The Tuner does not grade your voice. Listen to one note, hum, play the reference again. The song key is the next lesson.

A whole song asks at once about melody, words, rhythm and a comfortable pitch. One miss in the chorus does not tell you which of those failed. One note leaves one job: hear the pitch and calmly repeat it.

The Tuner plays a reference. It does not analyse your voice or award points. You compare two sounds by ear. You do not change the song key here.

Listen, hum, compare

Open the Tuner and pick one comfortable reference note. Hear it twice with your mouth closed. If your neck is already tightening, pick another. This is not a range test.

Stop the sound and wait two seconds. Recall the pitch as if it were still playing. If it fades, hear it again instead of guessing.

Hum on a calm “mmm”, without getting louder. Hold two or three seconds, without sliding up and down. Finish and name the impression: too high, too low or close.

Play the same note right after humming. Listen for whether the reference sits above the hum, below it or in the same place. On the next try, correct only the direction. Sliding through many pitches can hit the target by accident.

Louder does not mean higher. If the hum is quiet and close to the reference, leave the volume.

One line, not the whole chorus

Open Wlazł kotek na płotek and take the first short phrase. Hear the first note, stop playback, hum, compare. Then sing only that line. Do not touch the key yet.

If your neck tightens, stop. A more comfortable note, or a lower song key, is a separate decision in the next lesson.

Hum one note from the Tuner

Listen, hum, play the reference again. The screen does not grade your voice. Do not force your neck.

Measure: the hum and the reference sit in the same place, or you know whether you were too high or too low.

Check one melody phrase

Take the first line. Listen, hum, compare. Do not touch the key yet.
